Get To Know Me
The Simply Said Difference
When you blend in, you don’t stand out. And you’ve worked way too hard to be forgettable.
You don’t want your brand to look and sound like everyone else’s - and I don’t want that for you either.
I care just as much about what your brand says as how it looks. I’m here to help you clarify your message, design a brand that feels like you, and build a website that works hard behind the scenes - so you can spend more time doing what you do best.
I help entrepreneurs grow with intention through, clear brand strategy, purposeful messaging, and website design that feels like you. Because when it all clicks into place? You show up with confidence, attract the right clients, and finally move forward with clarity.
I believe...
🧡 Your brand should reflect who you are and where you’re going, not just where you’ve been.
🧡 Good design starts with clarity, not color palettes.
🧡 And the cost of inaction (lost clients, confusion, and second-guessing) is way higher than just getting started. It doesn't need to be perfect.
And here’s the thing: you don’t have to be great at branding or web design - that’s where I come in.

Hi, I'm Sarah
Founder of Simply Said Creative
I didn’t start out in branding or web design. I started out trying to solve a problem… for myself.
Here's the short version of my story.
Years ago, I was in a role where I wore a hundred hats. One day, I was asked to build a website for a project, and I said yes - even though I had no idea how. That one project lit something up in me. I realized I had a natural instinct for clarity - for turning messy ideas into clear messages and functional, beautiful design.
Since then, I’ve become a Certified Knowledge Translation Professional (yep, it’s a thing!), which means I’m trained to take complex ideas and translate them into messages that people actually understand and act on.
Eventually, I traded in my 9–5 for the freedom of working for myself, building Simply Said Creative so I could do meaningful work, support incredible entrepreneurs, and live life on my own terms.
Now, I run my business from wherever I am in the world (with coffee...or prosecco, in hand, of course), and help others build brands that let them do the same.
The Longer Version (If You Like the Full Story)
Branding yourself? That’s the hardest part
When I set out to build my own brand, I hit the same wall I now help my clients through: it’s really hard to see your own brilliance clearly.
I had the experience, the strategy and the skills - but articulating my own message? That was a struggle. Branding yourself is a whole different game. That’s when I realized just how powerful an outside perspective can be - and why it’s the very first thing I offer my clients.
Drowning in freebies, downloads, and buzzwords?
If you’re overwhelmed by all the advice, freebies, online courses, and branding buzzwords… I get it. I’ve downloaded more “ultimate guides” than I can count - some too basic to help, others so long and complicated they ended up forgotten in my downloads folder.
And let’s be real: piecing together your brand from a bunch of conflicting advice isn’t just exhausting, it’s a full-time job. If you’re tired of trying to DIY your brand, messaging, and website while second-guessing every decision - I see you.
You’re not alone. And you don’t have to do it all yourself.
I'm certified in making ideas make sense
As a Certified Knowledge Translation Professional, I’m trained to take complex, messy, or just plain hard-to-explain ideas and turn them into messages that actually land.
Whether you're launching something new, pivoting into something more aligned, or trying to explain your work in a way that gets people nodding yes - I’m here to help you say it clearly, confidently, and in your own voice. Because it’s not just about looking polished. It’s about connecting with the people who need you.
I traded the 9–5 for freedom (and WiFi)
Eventually, I walked away from the traditional 9–5. I wanted more freedom, more creativity, and a business that fit into my life - not the other way around.
Now, I get to run Simply Said Creative from wherever I am in the world - whether that’s my home office, a café with strong WiFi, or a sunny corner of the globe that inspires fresh ideas. And I help my clients do the same: build brands that are aligned, flexible, and set up to support the life they actually want to live.
Simply Said Creative was built for you
This business exists for the entrepreneurs who are building something meaningful, stepping into a new season, or finally bringing their big idea to life.
You’ve got something valuable to offer—but when it comes to saying it clearly, showing up confidently, or pulling it all together into a brand and website that actually works… you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start.
I’ve been there. And I created Simply Said Creative to be the support I wish I had back then—part clarity coach, part creative partner, and part no-fluff cheerleader.
You don’t need a perfect plan.
You just need the right support. 🧡

“I believe good ideas deserve great energy — and maybe a splash of Prosecco.”

Here's How I Work
✦ Clarity before design.
We start by defining your message and purpose—so every word and design choice reflects what you truly want to say.
✦ Guided, not overwhelming.
I lead the process with structure and ease, so you never feel like you’re figuring it out alone.
✦ Design that fits.
We’ll create something that feels aligned, authentic, and built to grow with you.
✦ Platform flexibility.
I’m a Wix Partner and also work in WordPress and Wild Apricot, when the project calls for it. We’ll choose what works best for your goals and your comfort level.
This isn’t just about design or strategy.
It’s about moving past the confusion, the overthinking, and the “I don’t know how to say this” and finally building a brand that reflects your work, speaks to the right people, and helps you grow with confidence.
